Florida was amazing. It was so beautiful! I really do miss living there. I took going to the beach whenever I wanted for granted and now I really regret it. It was fun playing on the beach but I got tired of being told that jellyfish will sting me if I touch one. NO! It will not sting me if I touch the top. Guys kept hitting on my mom all week, that was funny. There was this one guy at the beach who borrowed some ice and then had my mom put tanning lotion on him because he thought his back was getting too much sun. Riiiiight. He sat on my blanket for WAY too long. A quick "can I borrow some ice" would have been sufficient. He was attractive for his age, but I wanted to lay out and gossip with my mom.

I met up with my childhood friend Micah which was fun. He is really tall now, so the pictures of us together are funny. Micah was in Chicago for most of my visit, so we didn't get to hang out as much as we would have liked. Next time he will have more notice and can make better plans!

I met Jordan's dad and his dad's girlfriend Friday night. I really like them. They are both really nice, which is a great change from David's parents. I think his dad got a little annoyed with all of the Jew jokes, but I'm used to them so it isn't a big deal to me. I am pretty sure Jordan was more excited for me to meet his dog though! He is definitely a big dog, but very sweet.

Annette's cats may or may not be the death of me before I leave. My sister swears she is not allergic to them, but all of my allergy medicine has magically disappeared... Interesting. Now I am unable to breathe and I am sneezing/ coughing like it is going out of style. Fun!

This is random, but I will never understand why people eat ham on Easter. Jesus NEVER would have done that. It just makes no sense to me.

Just for clarification... I have never done cocaine.

Monday, March 17, 2008

I did not steal your cocaine nor was I used as a distraction so someone else could. Please just give my boyfriend his TV back that we know you stole because you sent a text to his roommate admitting it. Oh, and don't beat your girlfriend because that isn't nice. Seriously?

In other news... This time next week  I will be boarding a flight for Florida. Ashley is no longer going with me, but I am still going to make the  best of it. I looked at the weather forecast for next week and it is supposed to snow. Come on already!

Last weekend was AMAZING! Friday was eventful in a fun, good way! I went tanning, bowling, and to the Outback with Mandy. I saw some old friends and made some new ones. Saturday Jordan and I went to St. Joe for some Olive Garden that was wonderful! We sampled some wine that I surprisingly liked so we each got a glass, and since Jordan was too full with half a glass left I got his too! Yay! Then we went and saw "No Country for Old Men" which was good. We couldn't really figure out the theme, but it was still a good movie overall. Maybe I will watch it again with my dad and try to figure it out. Sunday was Greek Week Olympiad. That was fun, but it would have been way better had it been warmer.

Ashley will not be joining me for Spring Break in Florida. She has bills and no money, which means no extra money for her plane ticket. I am determined to still have fun, but it won't be the same without her. I am trying to meet up with one of my long lost bff's from when I was younger. His mom and my mom were bff's so by default we spent immense amounts of time together. We are only a year apart, so it worked out well thankfully. My mom says that he is about 6'5" now which is ironic because of how short I am. Hopefully we will be able to meet up for dinner!
